Hi thewolf, you're welcome  I welcome you even I'm a new member myself
According to me, the best way to learn a Language is reading, reading and reading...books, newspapers..watch News, Movies....I learned English this way...so you can do with French...you'll see as time goes by..you'll notice that you made improvements...
You can also try to learn French grammar, vocabulary (by reading) and verbs tenses...
Good Luck with that....you have to be motivated too
